This happens because iPhone users react to your message with an emoji, but only iMessage users can “read” this emoji. The SMS your phone receives just regurgitates the reaction and the original text. It’s very silly.

It’s the last day for Pixel 3 ‘Original’ quality photo uploads. Make it count.

When the original Google Pixel launched, it came with a unique perk: free Google Photos backups of photos and videos at their original quality. This applied for the entire life of the phone. It was a great perk that was one of the device’s big selling points.

The perk didn’t last. With the Google Pixel 2, Google changed the program to allow for unlimited “Original Quality” Google Photos uploads for about three years. Yesterday, a rumor started on Twitter. The rumor centered on what the new name might be for OnePlus’ and Oppo’s combined operating systems. OnePlus’ is currently called Oxygen OS and Oppo’s is currently called Color OS, but we know they will combine under one banner at some point this year.

Mukul Sharma posited that this new name might be “H2OOS.” This would be a combined version of two names OnePlus has used: Oxygen OS and Hydrogen OS. The latter of those is what OnePlus called Oxygen OS in China before it started using Color OS in that country.

OnePlus recently took the wraps off its current flagship phone, the OnePlus 10 Pro. Although the majority of smartphone buyers can’t get it yet, it looks like another phone is coming soon that could be more readily accessible.

According to frequent leaker Max Jambor, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 could be on the way. Jambor says the phone could launch on February 11, 2022. That’s only a few days after we expect to see the Galaxy S22 series launch if the rumors pan out.
